On Thursday, the Sacramento Kings will be playing in the third of four straight road games when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Kings and the Timberwolves played their first game against each other in late November, when the Kings were able to pull off a 113-101 road win. Sacramento made just under 50 percent of their shots in that game while holding the Wolves to a low 41.1 field goal percentage.

In 24 games against Minnesota, Kings small forward Rudy Gay has been able to average 20.4 points, six rebounds and three assists per game. Point guard Darren Collison has averaged 11.7 points and 4.8 assists per game against the Wolves in his career, while center DeMarcus Cousins has scored 16.1 points per game and grabbed just under nine rebounds per game against them in 14 games.

On Tuesday night, the Timberwolves lost their ninth straight game when the Utah Jazz beat them 100-94 on the road. The Wolves shot the ball pretty well in that loss, but they were also outrebounded 43-34.

So far this season, the Wolves are near the bottom of the Western Conference in both rebounding and points allowed. Small forward Shabazz Muhammad has been able to make 50 percent of his shots this season and is averaging 13.8 points per game. Center Gorgui Dieng is currently tied for the team lead in rebounds with 8.1 per game.
