The Sacramento Kings and Milwaukee Bucks haven't seen each other since March of 2013. In that game Monta Ellis scored 29 points and added nine assists on his way to leading the Bucks past the Kings 115-113. However, this is a new year and these teams look a bit different now. Both of these teams will be looking to start off on the right foot when playing each other for the first time this season.
The Kings are coming off of a win against the New Orleans Pelicans in a month where the Kings have really played sub-par basketball. In that game Tyreke Evans came close to getting a triple-double against his old team with 27 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and a steal. DeMarcus Cousins helped the Kings cause with 23 points and 12 rebounds. The Kings will be looking to do the same thing to a Bucks team that also just tallied a nice win.
The Bucks destroyed the Utah Jazz on Monday night with a 114-88 win. Ersan Ilyasova had a huge night scoring 31 points, grabbing five rebounds, and getting two steals. Enes Kanter had a big night of his own for the Jazz with 27 points, 14 rebounds, an assist and a steal, but it wasn't enough to make this game close.
Going back over the last 10 times the Kings have faced the Bucks, Milwaukee is 6-4 straight up against Sacramento. Against the spread, these teams split as well going 5-5.
In their more recent games, the Kings are 3-7 ATS while failing to cover in three of their last four. On the other hand, Milwaukee has been on fire ATS over the last month tallying a 7-3 record ATS. The Bucks haven't been winning a great deal of games at home but they know how to cover when they're playing at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
