On Tuesday night, the Sacramento Kings will be going up against the Los Angeles Lakers in a game between two underperforming defenses.

During the 2013-14 season, the Lakers were able to win three out of their four games over the Kings. The Lakers won the first game 100-86, but the other three games were all decided by six or fewer points.

Kings small forward Rudy Gay has played in 25 games versus the Lakers in his career, averaging 18.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Center DeMarcus Cousins has scored 15.1 points per game while grabbing 9.9 boards per game against the Lakers, while power forward Jason Thompson has averaged 9.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game against them.

The Lakers scored just 40 points in the first half of their game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday night and ended up losing 104-87. They only turned the ball over seven times in that loss, but they were also only able to make 40 percent of their shots.

Through 21 games, the Lakers have one of the worst defenses in the NBA by allowing their opponents to score 110.9 points per game against them. Center Jordan Hill has been one of their more consistent players by averaging 13.4 points and a team-high 9.1 rebounds per game. Kobe Bryant currently leads the team in scoring with 25.2 points per game.
