After back to back matchups with the Western Conference elite, Dallas gets somewhat of a break with Sacramento coming to town. It will be interesting to see how much the Mavericks have left in the tank after games with the Thunder and Clippers, but they'll get the benefit of being on an 8-game home stand and playing a Kings team that plays two nights in a row.

The Kings look to get even more talented next year with a draft pick in the top 5-7. Of course it will also be their 6th straight year with top 7 draftee and that obviously hasn't translated to on-court success because they keep drafting there. The Kings have only 10 wins on the road this season and have gone just 3-7 SU in their last 10 with two of those wins coming against Philly and Milwaukee.

After a Wednesday night win over Washington, the Suns have actually slipped into Dallas' number 8 playoff spot. The Mavs are a ½ game back on the outside looking in with just 9 games to play. Dallas toppled OKC in overtime on Tuesday but have gone only 3-2 thus far on their home stand. Sacramento coming to town on Saturday night is a must-win in the absolute sense.

The Kings had Dallas on the ropes the last time they met before being outscored 32-22 in the 4th quarter to allow the Mavs a 107-103 win. The Mavericks were 9 point favorites at home that night but weren't able to cover behind Dirk Nowitzki's 34 points nor did the 214.5 total go over.
