On Monday night, the Sacramento Kings will be going up against the Brooklyn Nets, who are 7-7 on their home court this season. Last year, the Kings and the Nets split their two-game regular season series against each other.

The Kings ended their two-game losing streak on Saturday night by pulling off a 135-129 overtime win over the New York Knicks. They had one of their better shooting nights of the season in that one, finishing with a solid 55.1 field goal percentage.

Through 30 games this year, the Kings are in the top half of the league in scoring, but they are in the bottom 10 in points allowed. Center DeMarcus Cousins has been one of the better big men in the league this season by averaging 24.7 points and 12.3 rebounds per game while hitting 51.4 percent of his shots.

On Saturday, the Nets had their three-game winning streak snapped when the Indiana Pacers came into town and beat them 110-85. Brooklyn made just 36.4 percent of their shots in that loss and turned the ball over 15 times.

Brooklyn's offense has been one of the worst in the Eastern Conference this season, averaging just over 95 points per game. Veteran point guard Deron Williams has averaged 15 points and 6.6 assists per game this season, but he has made less than 40 percent of his shot attempts. Their top rebounder is power forward Kevin Garnett, who has grabbed 7.6 boards per game.
