The last time Portland played Miami, both the Trail Blazers and Heat had very potent offenses on display. Although Lebron James was sitting on the bench due to injury, they would get a great performance from one of the other “Big Three” in Chris Bosh. Bosh played one of his best games ever for the Heat, including making a game winning 3-pointer for them to hand the Trail Blazers their third loss at home this season, 108-107. Bosh had a career game with a season 37 points and 10 rebounds.

The Heat were also without Chris Anderson due to a sore back, but Ray Allen and Dwayne Wade, who both missed the previous game, were back for Miami. Allen added 9 points and Wade had 16. Wade made a bad foul in the closing moments of the game when he fouled Nicolas Batum behind the arc. Batum took advantage of the three free throws and made all of them. Wade made up for it with a dunk that tied the game at 105 with 26 seconds left, but the Heat fouled Batum again with 7.7 seconds, and Batum made both shots. The next play set up Bosh's 3-pointer when Wade drove right and passed it back to him well beyond the arc. Bosh took the three and won the game.

Wesley Matthews lead the Blazers with 23 points and LaMarcus Aldridge added 22 points, and he also had a missed buzzer beater at the end of the game.
