The Portland Trail Blazers will try to add another win to their 8-4 road record when they go up against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. The Blazers and the Spurs played their first game against each other on Monday night, when Portland came away with a 108-95 home win.

The Blazers were able to outscore the Milwaukee Bucks 36-27 in the fourth quarter of their game against each other on Wednesday night, which helped them pull off a 104-97 home win. They had a great night on the boards in that win, outrebounding the Bucks 52-32.

Through 26 games, the Blazers are the top rebounding team in the NBA and they are in the top three in points allowed by giving up just 95.7 points per game. Point guard Damian Lillard has been their best all-around player so far this season by averaging 22.5 points, 6.2 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game.

On Wednesday night, the Spurs lost their second game in a row when the Memphis Grizzlies beat them 117-116 in triple-overtime. They did make 17 of their 35 three-pointers in that loss, but they only made 41 percent of their field goals overall.

So far this season, the Spurs are in the top half of the league in rebounding, assists per game and points allowed. Small forward Kawhi Leonard is second on the team in scoring with 15.2 points per game and he's also grabbed 7.6 rebounds per game. Guard Danny Green has scored 12.2 points per game and has made 42.1 percent of his three-pointers.
