Saturday night, the Portland Trailblazers will make a stop at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse to take on the Indiana Pacers.

The Portland Trailblazers will wrap up a 5 game road trip with their 2nd meeting of the season against the Indiana Pacers.  But they will come into Saturday’s game after playing the Chicago Bulls in Chicago on Friday night.  With an expectedly tough game on Friday and a quick turnaround for a Saturday night game to end a road trip, the Blazers might come in with a little less energy.   That lack of rest could be the only thing that could stop Portland from dominating the Pacers as most basketball observers expect them to. 

The Indiana Pacers will be taking their home court after facing the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre on Friday night.  After facing the best team in the Eastern Conference on Friday night, the Pacers might not have much fight left in them on Saturday.  And in reality, the Pacers haven’t had much fight in them so far this season.  They have already had two losing streaks of 5 or more games this season and without a spectacular turnaround, they aren’t expected to be a playoff contender this season.  Back to back games against two of the best teams in the NBA is a tough task for even the best of teams and the Pacers unfortunately aren’t the best of teams right now.
