On Wednesday night, the Portland Trail Blazers will be playing in their third straight road game when they visit the Charlotte Hornets. In their first game against each other this season, the Blazers were able to come away with a narrow 102-100 home win.

Portland kept on rolling on Monday night when they won their eighth game in a row, defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 114-104 on the road. They shot nearly 50 percent as a team in that win while outrebounding Philadelphia 52-29.

Through 14 games, the Blazers are atop the Northwest Division and currently lead the league in rebounding. Power forward LaMarcus Aldridge is playing like an All-Star again this season by averaging 21.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.

On Monday, the Hornets lost their sixth straight game when they were blown out 113-92 by the Los Angeles Clippers. They only turned the ball over five times in that loss, but they were also only able to make two of their 20 three-pointers.

The Hornets have played pretty good team defense this year, but they are only scoring about 94 points per game. Veteran center Al Jefferson has scored 21 points per game this season with grabbing .4 rebounds per game. Point guard Kemba Walker has scored 14.6 points per game, but he has only been able to make 38.5 percent of his shots.
