The high-scoring Phoenix Suns will be going up against the solid defense of the Washington Wizards on Sunday night.

During the 2013-14 season, the Suns and the Wizards each picked up a road win in their two-game series against each other. The Wizards won the first game 101-95 in Phoenix, then the Suns were able to win the second game 99-93 in Washington.

In his six games against the Wizards, Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe has been able to average 12.7 points and 4.2 assists per game in just 21.9 minutes per game. Small forward Gerald Green has scored 7.8 points per game against Washington in 16 career games, while Goran Dragic has been able to average 12.5 points and six assists per game against them.

On Friday night, the Wizards were able to make a late comeback against the Miami Heat and came away with a 105-103 road win. That win gave them a 19-6 record, which is the best start in franchise history.

The Wizards have been able to average over 25 assists per game this season, which puts them in the top three in the NBA in that category. In his first season with Washington, veteran small forward Paul Pierce has been able to average 13.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and just 1.2 turnovers per game. Point guard John Wall is leading the team in scoring with 17.9 points per game.
