The Phoenix Suns will be playing in the third of four consecutive road games when they face the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night. During the 2013-14 season, the Suns were able to win all four of their games against the Pelicans.

In Sunday night, the Suns won their sixth consecutive game when they defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 116-107 on the road. They made 50.6 percent of their shots in that win, which included going 9-for-22 from beyond the arc.

The Suns have played better defense recently and are currently in the top five in the league in scoring. Shooting guard Goran Dragic has scored a team-high 16.6 points per game this season and has made nearly 50 percent of his shots.

The Pelicans played well as the underdogs against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night, but they came up just short in what ended up being a 107-100 road loss. They were outrebounded 45-37 in that game and ended up turning the ball over 15 times.

Through 30 games, the Pelicans are scoring over 101 points per game, but they are also giving up 102 points per game. Power forward Anthony Davis has been one of the best players in the league this season by averaging 24.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals and three blocks per game. Point guard Jrue Holiday has scored 15.5 points per game while dishing out 7.2 assists per game.
