On Sunday, the Phoenix Suns will be going up against the Los Angeles Lakers in an early-season Pacific Division matchup. The Suns and the Lakers have already played each other twice this year, with the Suns coming away with both of the wins.

In their game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday, the Suns won 115-106 on the road for their fifth win in a row. They shot well from three-point range in that game, making 14 of their 33 shots from beyond the arc.

The Suns have been one of the better scoring teams in the Western Conference this season by putting up over 105 points per game. Point guard Eric Bledsoe has averaged 15.9 points, 5.8 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game. Forward Marcus Morris has been one of their better three-point shooters by making 43.4 percent of his shots from beyond the arc.

On Friday night, the Lakers lost their second consecutive game when the Dallas Mavericks beat them 102-98 on the road. They Lakers could not hit their shots in that loss, finishing with a low 36.4 field goal percentage.

The Lakers give up more points than any other team in the NBA and they are also in the bottom half of the league in rebounding. Shooting guard Kobe Bryant has scored a team-high 24.6 points per game.
