The Phoenix Suns will be visiting the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night in a game between two of the highest scoring teams in the NBA. During the 2013-14 season, the Mavs won two out of their three games against the Suns.

The Suns were able to outscore the Indiana Pacers 33-20 in the fourth quarter of their game on Tuesday night and came away with a 116-99 home win. They shot well from beyond the arc in that game, making 12 of their 25 three-point attempts.

Through their first 19 games, the Suns are in the top 10 in the league in scoring with over 105 points scored per game. Shooting guard Goran Dragic now has a 16.3 PER on the year by averaging 15.5 points, 3.2 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game. Point guard Eric Bledsoe has scored 15.3 points per game while dishing out a team-high 5.8 assists per game.

Dallas was able to extend their winning streak to five games on Wednesday when they edged the Milwaukee Bucks 107-105 on the road. They ended up with a 46-39 rebounding advantage in that game and were able to force the Bucks into committing 18 turnovers.

Through their first 20 games of the season, the Mavs are the top scoring team in the league by averaging over 110 points per game. Shooting guard Monta Ellis has a 19 PER this year by averaging 20.7 points, 4.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
