The Houston Rockets were able to go on the road and beat the New Orleans Pelicans 103-100 the last time these two teams faced each other. The Rockets only made four of their 13 three-point attempts in the game and just 61% of their free throws, but they did shoot 51.4% from the field overall to help them get the win.

The Pelicans looked like the better team in this one early on and were able to to finish the first quarter with a 30-19 lead. The two teams looked a bit more even before the break, but New Orleans was still able to take an 11-point lead into the locker room.

The Rockets came out in the third quarter and shot the ball better and played much better defense than they had in the first half. They were able to cut the deficit down to seven points going into the fourth quarter. The Rockets were able to catch all the way back up in the fourth and, after some back-and-forth play down the stretch, made key shots and stops to complete the comeback and win.

Houston shooting guard James Harden led the Rockets with 26 points, while power forward Terrence Jones had 25 points, eight rebounds and six blocks. Chandler Parsons added a double-double in the win with 12 points and 11 boards.

Pelicans shooting guard Eric Gordon had a game-high 35 points.
