The Boston Celtics last played the Phoenix Suns on February 19th. The Suns were able to pull out the victory over the Celtics. Markieff Morris led the Suns with eighteen points in their 100-94 victory. Six Suns players had double digit points during the game. Despite having three players score over fifteen points the Boston Celtics could not keep any momentum on their side and never seemed to catch up to the Suns.

After the Suns two foul shots followed by a three pointer the Celtics did not come within three points of the Suns.

With the loss to the Suns the Boston Celtics had only one win and three losses in their last four games. The Suns win over the Celtics put them on a three game winning streak. Currently both teams are at the bottom of their conference. Boston is twenty three games behind the Indiana Pacers in the East. The Suns are faring a little better and are eleven games behind the Spurs in the West.
