On Monday, the Philadelphia 76ers will try not to reach double digit losses before they pick up their first win, but to do so they will have to beat the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs picked up two wins in two games against the 76ers last season.

Philadelphia came close to picking up their first win of the year against the Houston Rockets on Friday, but they played poorly in the second half and ended up losing 88-87. They did a very bad job of taking care of the ball in that loss, finishing with 23 team turnovers.

The 76ers have only been able to score 90 points per game this season, which is easily the worst scoring rate in the NBA. The one player who has played consistently well for them is guard Tony Wroten, who has averaged 20.3 points, 6.3 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game through nine games.

The Spurs had their three-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday when they were beaten 94-91 by the Sacramento Kings on the road. They only made seven of their 24 three-point attempts in that loss and they turned the ball over 14 times.

San Antonio has been pretty disappointing on offense this season, scoring just 94.4 points per game against their opponents. 38-year-old Tim Duncan has certainly done his part to keep his team in games by averaging 14.5 points, 11 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game.
