The Philadelphia 76ers will need to get a top performance from their defense on Tuesday night if they want to beat the high-scoring Golden State Warriors. Last season, the Warriors were able to sweep their two-game series against the 76ers.

The 76ers couldn't get their shots to go down in their game against the Utah Jazz last Saturday and ended up getting blown out 88-71 on the road. They had 16 turnovers in that game and were only able to make 32.4 percent of their field goal attempts.

Through 29 games this season, the 76ers have just four wins and are giving up nearly 103 points per game. Shooting guard Tony Wroten currently has a 15.2 PER by averaging a team-high 16.7 points with 5.4 assists per game. Power forward Nerlens Noel isn't scoring much, but he does lead the team in rebounding with 7.1 per game.

The Warriors got back on the winning track on Saturday when they easily defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 110-97 at home. They made 11 three-pointers in that win and ended up shooting 46.6 percent from the field in that win.

So far this year, the Warriors are averaging 107.4 points per game and lead the league in assists with 25.7 per game. Point guard Stephen Curry has a 26.3 PER right now by averaging 23.1 points, 7.6 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game.
