Philadelphia was almost able to end their 22 game losing streak at home against Chicago on Wednesday until the Bulls were able to pull away in a closer than expected 104-96 win. The Sixers get another chance in Chicago on Saturday night with both teams possibly weary on the second game of back to back scheduling.

Chicago's win Wednesday was only their 6th in the last 10 games as they remain solid in the #4 spot in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls hold a 2 game advantage over Brooklyn for home court advantage in their probable first round playoff matchup. Chicago coach Tom Thibodeau was not happy with his team's output during their victory over Philadelphia so it will be interesting to see if a more intense Bulls team shows up Saturday night.

Like Chicago, the 76ers will also be playing the 2nd end of a back to back Saturday, flying into the Windy City after a home game with the Knicks. Philadelphia has famously lost 22 straight games but their effort in the previous matchup with the Bulls shows that players haven't thrown in the towel completely.

Chicago's 104-96 win on Wednesday came as 13 point road favorites but wasn't enough to cover the number. 6 of 9 Bulls who played scored in double figures with D.J. Augustin leading the charge with 20. The Bulls were able to dominate on the boards with Joakim Noah, Carlos Boozer, and Taj Gibson all reaching double figures as the over hit by a single point over the 195 total.
