The Toronto Raptors have been looking good on the road this season. They came into Oklahoma City and handed the Thunder their first home loss of the season when these teams last met. The game was clinched with Kyle Lowry making two free throws with 9.8 seconds to go in the game, and he finished with 22 points.

Amir Johnson also added to the Toronto win with 17 points and 13 assists. Forward John Salmons added 14 points plus he added two key free throws down the stretch as well. For the Thunder, Russel Westbrook scored 27 points and Kevin Durant added 24. Oklahoma City went on a 24-4 run during the third quarter to put them up 82-71. But Toronto still had fire left as they came back and regained the lead in the fourth right before Durant tied it up again with a 3-pointer. The Thunder's next two possessions were key for Toronto. Reggie Jackson missed a 3-pointer, and Jonas Valanciunas got a block of Westbrook as he attempted a simple layup that led to a fast break at the other end.

The Raptors were relentless on defense in the second half. Durant finished 5-of-15 from the field and managed to add to the Thunder's turnover problem, committing six of the 19 for Oklahoma City. Toronto scored on its final nine possessions of the first half, turning a five-point deficit into a 62-56 half-time lead. Also adding to the win was DeMar DeRozan, who added 17 points for Toronto and Valanciunas who added 13 points including his key block late in the fourth.
