The top seeded San Antonio Spurs were able to cruise to a 122-105 home win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. The Spurs shot well the entire game and ended up with a 57.5 percent shooting percentage. They also forced the Thunder into 16 turnovers while turning it over just nine times themselves.

The Spurs looked a bit more focused on their offense from the start of the game and ended up going into the half up 67-59. In the second half, they turned up the defensive pressure to help them pull off the 17-point win.

San Antonio was led by veteran Tim Duncan, who made 11 of his 19 field goal attempts in the game and had a team-high 27 points and seven rebounds in the game. Tony Parker had a double-double in the win with 14 point and 12 assists, while Manu Ginobili came off of the bench to score 18 points in 27 minutes on the floor.

Kevin Durant was once again the Thunder's best player by scoring a game-high 28 points, while also grabbing nine rebounds and assisting on fie other buckets. Russell Westbrook had 25 points, seven assists and five rebounds in the loss, but he made just nine of his 21 field goal attempts. Veteran point guard Derek Fisher made four of his six three-point attempts and finished with 16 points.
