The Oklahoma City Thunder will try to add on to their first winning streak of the season on Tuesday when they go up against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Thunder were able to win two out of their three games against the Pelicans a season ago.

The Thunder played one of their best games of the season last Friday when they blew out the New York Knicks 105-78 at home. Point guard Russell Westbrook made his first start off of the injured list and notched 32 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in the win.

So far this year, the Thunder have struggled to score, but their defense is holding other teams to just 93.4 points per game. In his three game this season, Westbrook has averaged 24 points, six assists and 1.7 steals per game for Oklahoma City.

Last Saturday, the Pelicans lost their third straight game when the Washington Wizards beat them 83-30 on the road. New Orleans only made 37 percent of their shots in that loss and were outrebounded 46-42.

Through 15 games, the Pelicans have averaged 100.5 points per game while giving up 98.8 points per game. Big man Anthony Davis has a fantastic PER of 33.3 so far this season by averaging 24.9 points, 11.3 rebounds and three blocks per game. Point guard Jrue Holiday is averaging 15.5 points per game and a team-high 6.2 assists per game.
