The Oklahoma City Thunder will be feeling confident going into their next game against the New Orleans Pelicans because it was just this past Friday that they were able to dominate them 116-94. It was an easy win for the hosts and they will be looking to complete the three-game season sweep when the two teams play again on Monday.

The Pelicans actually shot the ball from long range pretty well in the game on Friday night, making nine of their 18 attempts. Their problem, though, was that they were outscored 28-0 in fast break points and allowed the Thunder to shoot 53.7% from the field in the game.

Thunder superstar Kevin Durant had another good shooting night for the hosts, scoring 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting and grabbing eight rebounds in the win. Point guard Russell Westbrook finished the game with 24 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Power forward Serge Ibaka had his 27th double-double of the season by scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

Second-year Pelicans players Darius Miller and Austin Rivers scored 18 points apiece for New Orleans, but no one else on their team had more than 13 points in the game. Rivers was able to grab eight rebounds to go along with his 18 points, while Miller's 18 were a career-best for him. Backup center Alexis Ajinca was able to score 12 points and grab six rebounds off of the bench in the loss.
