On Friday night, the top-rated defense of the Oklahoma City Thunder will be going up against Los Angeles Lakers, who have one of the bottom three defenses in the NBA.

Last season, the Thunder were able to win three out of their four games against the Lakers. In their final game against each other, the Thunder dominated the Lakers, coming away with a 131-102 home win.

In his 20 career games against the Lakers, Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook has averaged 22.1 points, eight assists and 5.4 rebounds per game. Superstar Kevin Durant has scored 28.1 points per game against the Lakers in his career, while big man Serge Ibaka has scored 11.6 points per game against them while pulling down 9.8 rebounds per game.

On Monday night, the Lakers had their three-game winning streak come to an end when the Indiana Pacers blew them out 110-91 on the road. The Lakers only had nine turnovers in that loss, but they also made just 33 percent of their shots as a team.

Through their first 25 games this year, the Lakers have given up a whopping 109.5 points per game to opposing offenses. Shooting guard Kobe Bryant currently has a team-high 19.1 PER by averaging 25.2 points, 4.8 assists and five rebounds per game. Center Jordan Hill has scored 12.8 points per game and leads the team in rebounding with 8.6 boards per game.
