The Oklahoma City Thunder were able to make a big comeback in the fourth quarter of their Game 5 matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers to win 105-104 and take a 3-2 series lead. The game was close in just about every statistical category except for free throws, with the Thunder making 32 in the game and the Clippers just 16.

Los Angeles got off to a good start in the game and ended up finishing the first quarter with a 34-25 advantage. The Clippers maintained that lead for the majority of the game, but the Thunder were able to come back from seven points down with less than a minute remaining in the game to pull off the one-point win.

Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook put together a fantastic game in the win with a game-high 38 points to go along with his six assists, five rebounds and three steals. Despite shooting just 6-for-22 in the game, Kevin Durant still had a solid performance with 27 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

Blake Griffin made half of his shots for the Clippers and finished with 24 points, 17 rebounds and two clocks in the losing effort. Jamal Crawford had 19 points off the bench for Los Angeles, but he made just seven of his 22 field goal attempts. Chris Paul contributed a double-double with 17 points and 14 assists. Even though the game ended on a controversial replay, the Clippers had multiple chances to close the game out in the final minute and couldn't do so.
