Two hot Western Conference teams do battle Wednesday as the season winds down for both Oklahoma City and the Clippers. The Thunder and L.A have both played great lately but haven't been able to catch up to the red-hot Spurs, who have pulled away by 4.5 games and clinch with one more OKC loss. As it stands the Clippers only trail the Thunder by one game, which could loom large for a possible 2nd round playoff match as to who gets home court.

The Thunder play Wednesday's game immediately a night after visiting Sacramento. The Kings don't look to be too much of a threat to OKC but minutes are minutes this late in the year. Kevin Durant and Co. started off their current four-game road trip with losses to Houston and Phoenix and aim to get on a positive run with just three games remaining after the Clippers battle.

L.A would love nothing more than home court over OKC in round 2 and can take a huge step by defending their 32-6 home court record. The Clips will be rested with their last game coming on Sunday afternoon, an easy 120-97 walk in the park over their roommates the Lakers. In their last 9 games the Clippers have only lost 2 games, a 96-98 hiccup to the Pelicans and a 107-113 loss to the Mavs on a home game the first night back from a 5-game road trip.

This game marks the fourth meeting of the season between the two with L.A holding a 2-1 edge including a 1-0 record at home. The two last met in OKC on February 25th with the Thunder favored by -5.5. Jamal Crawford's 36 points were enough to offset 42 by Durant and give L.A a 125-117 win.
