On Sunday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder will be playing in the third and final game of their road trip when they visit the Detroit Pistons.

Earlier this season, the Pistons were able to go on the road and beat the Thunder 96-89 in overtime. Detroit dominated the boards in that win, finishing with a huge 55-42 rebounding advantage. The Thunder also made just 39.6 percent of their shots in the losing effort.

Pistons power forward Josh Smith has been able to average 16.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in his career against the Thunder, while point guard Brandon Jennings has averaged 16.3 points and 4.8 assists per game against them. Big man Greg Monroe has done well in his 16 games against Oklahoma City, averaging 16.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.

The Thunder have now won three out of their last four games after beating the Philadelphia 76ers 103-91 on Friday night. They played well on offense in that win, making 49.3 percent of their shots.

Without star Kevin Durant for the majority of the season, the Thunder have only been able to score 92.3 points per game against their opponents. In his first five games of the season, point guard Russell Westbrook has been able to average 24 points, 6.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game. Backup guard Reggie Jackson has scored 18.8 points per game while dishing out 7.1 assists per game.
