The Oklahoma City Thunder will visit the United Center on Monday, March 17 to play the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls will be looking return the favor for the 107-95 beating they took in OKC in December. Kevin Durant led the Thunder to a pretty easy victory against the Bulls on this night. Durant finished the game with 32 points, nine rebounds, six assists, three steals and a block. It was the Thunder's eighth straight win at the time.
The Thunder were up 15 at the beginning of the final quarter. The Bulls were able to pull within seven with some sharp shooting from D.J. Augustin. Oklahoma City turned the heat back up and went on a 16-4 run late in the fourth and were able to pull away. Russell Westbrook added 20 points, two rebounds, 10 assists and a steal on the night and Reggie Jackson added 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting.
The Bulls had made the game close by halftime by closing the gap to three and going into the locker room down 55-52. Durant and the Thunder came out of the half on a mission and controlled the rest of the game. For the Bulls, Joakim Noah led the way with 23 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block in the losing effort. Taj Gibson added 16 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. Augustin added 15 points and five assists.
