On Monday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder will be hoping that they can win their first road game of the year when they visit the Brooklyn Nets. Last season, the Thunder and the Nets split their two-game regular season series.

On Saturday, the Thunder were able to win their first game of the season when they beat the Denver Nuggets 102-91 at home. They made 22 free throws in that win and were able to force 17 Denver turnovers.

The Thunder are currently in the top ten in rebounds and assists per game, but they are only scoring 93.7 points per game. Russell Westbrook has averaged 20 points per game through his first two games and he also has five assists per game. Small forward Perry Jones is averaging 19.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.

The Nets won their first game of the season on Saturday when they defeated the Detroit Pistons 102-90 in the road. They outrebounded the Pistons 48-41 in that game and they only turned the ball over eight times.

The Nets have scored 103.5 points per game this season, but they are also giving up 105.5 points per game. Veteran shooting guard Joe Johnson is averaging 26.5 points, seven rebounds and 4.5 assists per game so far this season. Kevin Garnett has scored 14 points per game and has grabbed 10 rebounds per game.
