On Saturday night, the New York Knicks will be hoping that they can finally end their long losing streak when they play the Sacramento Kings.

During the 2013-14 season, the Kings and the Knicks split their two-game regular season series against each other. The Knicks won the first game by the score of 106-101 at home, but the Kings got the last laugh by defeating New York 107-99 at home later in the season.

Kings center DeMarcus Cousins has done well against the Knicks in his career, averaging a double-double of 18.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Veteran small forward Rudy Gay has scored 19.1 points per game in 15 career games against New York, while point guard Darren Collison has been able to average 13.7 points and 5.7 assists per game against them.

The Knicks lost their sixth straight game on Christmas day when they were defeated 102-91 by the Washington Wizards at home. They only turned the ball over seven times in that loss, but they also allowed Washington to make 51.2 percent of their shots.

Through 31 games, the Knicks have just five wins and are in the bottom five of the league in both scoring and rebounding. Point guard Jose Calderon has been one of their most efficient players by averaging 9.9 points and 4.2 assists while making 44.1 percent of his three-pointers.
