The Knicks need to get right on their West Coast road swing if they expect to have any chance of catching Atlanta for the final playoff spot in the East. Phoenix would love nothing more than to give New York another blowout beating as the Lakers did Tuesday to keep the Suns neck and neck with Dallas.

Almost everybody thought the Knicks had turned around a disappointing season at just the right time of the year when they won 8 straight games to stay in the playoff conversation. It was right about then New York lost two very winnable games to Cleveland and the Lakers right when the Hawks were losing three straight to keep the Knicks three games back. They'd love to avenge those losses with 4 games left on their West Coast swing.

The Suns aren't exactly an easy out though as they've won 4 straight to stay ½ game back from the Mavericks for the final Western Conference playoff opening. Phoenix has gone 3-1 ATS during that time but face a tough schedule with only 4 of the 11 games remaining at home. This could be one of Friday night's better games with both teams rested and needing the win.

The Suns and Knicks were in a dog fight the last time they met on January 13th at MSG. New York started off with a 7 point lead in the first and withstood a strong Phoenix run in the 4th to secure a 98-96 win. The 2 point margin wasn't enough to cover the Knicks -4 line though and with both teams failing to break 100 the total went under.
