The New York Knicks will try to finally snap their long losing streak on Wednesday night when they play the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers were able to win both of their games against the Knicks last season.

The Knicks scored just 38 second-half points against the Portland Trail Blazers last Sunday and were blown out 101-79 on the road. They made just seven of their 27 three-point attempts in that loss and finished with a very low 33.3 field goal percentage.

So far this season, the Knicks are near the bottom of the league in rebounding and they have only been able to average 94.6 points per game. Their best player has been small forward Carmelo Anthony, who is averaging 24.1 points per game while making 45.5 percent of his shots. Shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. is having his best year by averaging 12.9 points per game.

On Monday night, the Clippers held the Utah Jazz to 20 fourth-quarter points to pull off a 101-97 home win. They made 10 of their 23 three-pointers in that win and held the Jazz to a 41.3 field goal percentage.

The Clippers are currently one of the top scoring teams in the Western Conference and they are near the top of the league with over 24 assists per game. Point guard Chris Paul is having another solid year by averaging 18.1 points, 9.4 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
