On Saturday, the New York Knicks will visit the Atlanta Hawks in a game that will feature two teams trying to find their offensive identities.

During the 2013-14 season, the Knicks and the Hawks split their two-game regular season series against each other. New York won two out of their first three games against Atlanta, but the Hawks got the last laugh by beating them 107-98 at home late in the season.

The Knicks have struggled to score this season, but they are near the top of the league in team assists per game. Small forward Carmelo Anthony has played well against the Hawks in 23 career games, averaging 27.4 points and 7.1 rebounds per game against them. Veteran shooting guard J.R. Smith has scored 12.8 points per game against Atlanta in 21 games.

The Hawks won their first and only other home game last Saturday when they beat the Indiana Pacers 102-92. Last season, they were seven games over .500 at home while winning just 14 games on the road.

Atlanta is one of the best passing teams in the league, but they have not done very well on the boards. Hawks shooting guard Kyle Korver has faced the Knicks 25 times in his career and has averaged 10.5 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. Center Al Horford has been able to score 16.3 points per game against New York in 19 games while grabbing 9.9 rebounds per game.
