On Tuesday, the New Orleans Pelicans will be taking on the Indiana Pacers, who are just 3-8 on their home court this season. During the 2013-14 season, the Pacers were able to win both of their games against the Pelicans.

The Pelicans were able to make a late comeback against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday and picked up a 101-99 road win. They did a good job taking care of the ball in that game, finishing with just nine team turnovers.

Through their first 27 games this season, the Pelicans are in the top half of the league in both scoring and rebounding. Power forward Anthony Davis is an early-season MVP candidate by averaging 24.7 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. Small forward Tyreke Evans has also had a strong start to the year by averaging 16.4 points per game.

On Sunday night, the Pacers were able to snap their two-game losing skid when they defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 100-96 on the road. They shot the ball very well in that game, finishing with a 50 field goal percentage.

The Pacers have had one of the better defenses in the NBA this season, but they are also one of the bottom scoring teams in the league. Their best player has been Power forward David West, who is averaging 12.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
