On Thursday night, the New Orleans Pelicans will try to add a win to their poor 4-9 road record when they visit the Houston Rockets.

During the 2013-14 season, the Rockets were able to win three out of their four games against the Pelicans. New Orleans did get the last laugh, though, as they ended up beating the Rockets 105-100 in their final regular season game.

Rockets superstar James Harden has faced New Orleans 16 times in his career, averaging 17 points and 3.9 assists per game. Veteran small forward Trevor Ariza has averaged 10.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game against the Pelicans, while Jason Terry has been able to score 15.1 points per game against them in 41 career games.

The Pelicans were able to score 41 points in the fourth quarter of their game against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday to help them pull off a 119-111 comeback win. They had their best shooting night of the season in that one, making 59.5 percent of their shots.

So far this season, the Pelicans have had one of the better offenses in the league, but their defense has given up over 103 points per game. Power forward Ryan Anderson has had a pretty good season through 24 games by averaging 15.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Big man Anthony Davis is their top scorer by averaging 24.6 points per game.
