The New Orleans Pelicans, who are 3-6 on the road this season, will be going on the road on Thursday night to take on the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors won all three of their games against the Pelicans a season ago.

In their last game, the Pelicans were able to snap their three-game losing skid by defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 112-104 at home. They played solid defense in that game, forcing the Thunder into committing 17 turnovers.

The Pelicans are currently averaging 101.2 points per game while giving up just 99.1 points per game to their opponents. Power forward Anthony Davis has been one of the best players in the NBA this year by averaging 24.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 3.1 blocks per game for New Orleans.

On Tuesday night, the Warriors made their shots late in their game against the Orlando Magic and came away with a 98-97 win at home. They did well on the boards in that game, finishing with a 49-40 rebounding advantage.

The Warriors are third in the NBA in scoring with 106.5 points per game, and they are also third in rebounds with 45.3 boards per game. Point guard Stephen Curry has a 27.9 PER right now by averaging 23.7 points, 7.6 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game. Marreese Speights has come off of the bench to average 12.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
