The New Orleans Pelicans, who are 3-4 on the road this season, will be visiting the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night. During the 2013-14 season, the Pelicans were able to win both of their games against the Hawks.

The Pelicans were only able to score 30 second-half points against the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night and ended up losing 99-89 on the road. They had a tough time making their long distance shots in that game, finishing with a 17.6 percent three-point percentage.

So far this season, the Pelicans are in the top 10 in the league in scoring with 102.8 points per game. Big man Anthony Davis has been one of the best players in the NBA through 13 games by averaging 25.4 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.38 blocks and 2.1 steals per game. Point guard Jrue Holiday has scored 15 points per game and leads the team in assists with 6.5 per game.

The Hawks had their two-game winning streak come to an end on Wednesday when they were beaten 126-115 by the Toronto Raptors. They did made 51.2 percent of their shots in that loss, but they also turned the ball over 13 times.

Through 13 games, the Hawks are near the top of the league in assists, but they are one of the worst rebounding teams. They have been led by points guard Jeff Teague, who is averaging 18.3 points, seven assists and 1.5 steals per game.
