The Minnesota Timberwolves, who are just 2-8 on the road this season, will be visiting the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night. The Wolves and the Wizards played each other twice last season, with both teams picking up one win.

The Timberwolves' cold streak continued on Sunday night when the Los Angeles Lakers beat them 100-94 in Minnesota. Backup small forward Shabazz Muhammad came off of the bench to score 28 points and grab nine rebounds in the losing effort.

So far this season, the Wolves are in the bottom half of the league in scoring, points allowed and rebounding. Veteran forward Thaddeus Young has had a pretty good start to the season by averaging 13.7 points per game while grabbing 4.7 rebounds per game.

The Wizards were able to win their fourth game in a row on Sunday night when they easily defeated the Utah Jazz 93-84 at home. They made 48.8 percent of their shots in that win and were able to force the Jazz into committing 17 turnovers.

Through 23 games, the Wizards have averaged over 100 points per game while giving up less than 97 per game. Shooting guard Bradley Beal is averaging 15.4 points per game this season and has made 48.2 percent of his three-pointers. Veteran Rasual Butler has come off of the bench this year to average 10.3 points per game.
