The Minnesota Timberwolves will go on the road to face the struggling offense of the Orlando Magic on Friday night. Last year, these two teams each picked up a win against each other in their two-game regular season series.

On Wednesday, the Timberwolves won their first road game of the season when they beat the Brooklyn Nets 98-91. They did a great job on the boards in that win, outrebounding the Nets 51-42.

Through their first four games, the Wolves are sixth in the NBA in rebounding with 45.8 team rebounds per game. Shooting guard Kevin Martin has had a very good start to the year by scoring 23.7 points per game. Point guard Ricky Rubio is averaging a double-double with 10.8 points per game and 11 assists per game.

In their game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, the Magic picked up their first win of the season by beating them 91-89 on the road. They only made three of their 20 three-point attempts in that game, but they did have a 51-38 rebounding advantage.

The Magic have scored just 91.6 points per game this year while giving up 100.2 points per game. Center Nikola Vucevic has been Orlando's best player by scoring 17.8 points per game and grabbing 13 boards per game. Small forward Tobias Harris is averaging 17.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
