On Friday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be taking on the Denver Nuggets in a game between two of the worst defenses in the NBA. The Timberwolves and the Nuggets played each other four times last season, with both teams picking up two wins.

The Timberwolves lost their sixth consecutive game on Tuesday night when the Cleveland Cavaliers blew them out 125-104 on the road. The Wolves had 18 turnovers in that loss and allowed the Cavs to make 52.4 percent of their shots.

Through 27 games, the Wolves have just five wins and they are giving up a whopping 109 points per game to their opponents. New addition Corey Brewer has scored 10.3 points per game this season, but he has only made 19.5 percent of his three-point attempts.

In their game against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night, the Nuggets played a poor offensive game and ended up losing 102-96. They made just seven of their 25 three-point attempts in that loss and turned the ball over 18 times.

The Nuggets have been one of the better rebounding teams in the league this season, but they have also given up 104 points per game. Point guard Ty Lawson has been one of their better players this year by averaging 15.8 points, 10.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Center Timofey Mozgov is their top rebounder right now by grabbing eight boards per game.
