On Saturday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be visiting the Dallas Mavericks, who have been able to win three out of their last four games.

The Wolves did well in their four games against the Mavs last year, winning three of them. They lost one of their two home games in that series, but they were also able to win two games in Dallas.

Wolves forward Thaddeus Young has played in 13 games against Dallas, averaging 14.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game against them. Guard Kevin Martin has scored 18.2 points per game against the Mavs in his career, while center Nikola Pekovic has averaged 14.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game against them.

The Mavericks picked up the most lopsided win in franchise history on Thursday by blowing out the Philadelphia 76ers 123-70 on their home court. They made 51.3 percent of their shots in that game and forced the 76ers into committing 27 turnovers. They were also able to hold Philadelphia's starters to just 25 combined points in the win.

With that win on Thursday, the Mavericks are now the top scoring team in the league with 107.1 points scored per game. Power forward Dirk Nowitzki has been their top player by scoring 20.9 points per game and bringing down 5.7 rebounds per game. Center Tyson Chandler is averaging 11.1 points and a team-best 9.8 rebounds per game.
