The last time the Minnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks faced each other, the Timberwolves walked away with a decisive 117-95 victory. Kevin Love tallied his sixth straight double-double with 33 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and a steal. This game was close at halftime and then the Timberwolves went on a 14-0 run to start the second half. Love drained four of the 11 3-pointers Minnesota hit on the night.
The Bucks just couldn't stop the perimeter shooting and allowed an opponent to hit at least 10 3-pointers in seven straight games. Minnesota was 20-29 from behind the arc on the night for 69 percent. This loss dropped Milwaukee to 6-24 on the season which was an NBA worst at the time. Minnesota led by as much as 31 points before the Bucks made a run late in the game but Love and the Timberwolves kept enough pressure on to close the game out. Kevin Martin contributed with 20 points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal. Nikola Pekovic added 19 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block. Corey Brewer also added 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting.
Sanders finished the night with nine points, 10 rebounds and two steals. Khris Meddleton led the Bucks in scoring with 23 points on 10-of-20 shooting and Brandon Knight added 18 points, two rebounds, five assists and a steal.
