The Miami Heat and the Memphis Grizzlies will square off in Memphis on Sunday night in a game that will feature two of the better defenses in the NBA. The Heat and the Grizzlies split their two-game regular season series last year.

On Friday, the Heat lost their third game in a row when the Milwaukee Bucks blew them out 109-85 on the road. They turned the ball over 18 times in that loss and ended up being badly outrebounded 45-20.

The Heat have played well on defense this season, but their offense is only averaging 95.5 points per game. Veteran shooting guard Dwyane Wade has been their best player by averaging 21.8 points, 5.9 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game.

The Grizzlies scored just 14 first-quarter points in their game against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday and ended up losing 107-101 on the road. They only had 10 team turnovers in that loss, but they were also outrebounded 44-37.

Through 19 games, the Grizzlies are in the bottom half of the league in scoring and rebounding, but they are in the top half in assists and points allowed. Center Marc Gasol has been Memphis' most efficient player by averaging 19.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game. Point guard Mike Conley has been able to average 16.6 points and a team-high 6.5 assists per game so far this season.
