The Miami Heat will go on the road on Wednesday night to take on the Denver Nuggets, who have won five of their nine home games this season.

The Heat and the Nuggets each picked up a road win in their two-game regular season series last year. Miami won the first game by the score of 97-94 in Denver, and then the Nuggets were able to win the second game 111-107 in Miami.

In 19 career games against the Nuggets, Heat All-Star Dwyane Wade has been able to average 24.4 points, 5.2 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game. Center Chris Bosh is averaging 17.8 points and 8.8 boards per game against Denver in his career, and small forward Luol Deng has scored 15.8 points per game against them in 17 games.

On Monday night, the Nuggets lost their fourth consecutive game when the Toronto Raptors beat them 112-107 in overtime. Denver's offense played pretty well in that game, but their defense allowed the Raptors to shoot 50.6 percent from the field.

The Nuggets currently have one of the worst defenses in the NBA by allowing opposing teams to score 105.8 points per game against them. Point guard Ty Lawson has a team-high 18.2 PER right now by averaging 16.2 points per game while also dishing out 10.4 assists per game. Center Timofey Mozgov is leading the team in rebounding with nearly eight boards per game.
