On Wednesday night, the Miami Heat will take their potent offense on the road to face the tough defense of the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets haven't had a lot of success against the Heat over the years, but they are expected to be a bit closer to them in the standings this season.

Hornets center Al Jefferson has averaged a double-double in his 20 games against the Heat by scoring 15.2 points per game and grabbing 10.3 boards per game against them. New shooting guard Lance Stephenson is averaging 9.1 points and 3.8 rebounds against Miami in his career, while point guard Kemba Walker has been able to score 15.8 points per game with 4.5 assists per game against them in 11 games.
