The Miami Heat were able to take a commanding 3-0 lead in their quarterfinal series against the Charlotte Bobcats by beating them 98-85 on Saturday night. The Heat made nine of their 18 three-point attempts in the game and only turned the ball over six times.

After the Bobcats were able to get out to a 27-23 lead, the Heat took over in the second quarter and led by 12 points going into the half. Miami continued their solid play in the third quarter and had a comfortable 21-point lead at the start of the fourth. The Bobcats were able to make a bit of a run in the final period, but it wasn't enough to overcome the big deficit.

LeBron James led the way yet again for the Heat and had 30 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and two steals in the win. Dwyane Wade was able to add 17 points, while Chris Andersen came off of the bench to score 12 points and he also grabbed seven rebounds.

Al Jefferson was Charlotte's best player in the game, scoring 20 points and bringing down five rebounds in the loss. Josh McRoberts only shot 3-for-9 from the field, but he ended up with 13 points and nine rebounds on the night. Chris Douglas-Roberts came off of the bench to score 17 after making six of his eight shots.
