On Friday, the Miami Heat will go on the road to face the Atlanta Hawks in an early-season Southeast Division matchup. Last year, the Heat and the Hawks split their four-game regular season series.

On Wednesday night, the Heat had their worst offensive performance of the young season when they lost 81-75 to the Indiana Pacers at home. They only had nine turnovers in that loss, but they ended up losing the rebounding battle 53-28.

Veteran Dwyane Wade has scored 19.8 points per game this season with dishing out 6.4 assists per game. Power forward Chris Bosh is averaging 21.8 points and 9.3 boards per game through eight games.

Atlanta held the Utah Jazz to just nine points in their game on Wednesday night to help them come away with a 100-97 home win. They shot the ball very well in that game, finishing with a 50 percent field goal percentage.

The Hawks are in the top five in the NBA in assists by dishing out 23.9 helpers per game. Shooting guard Kyle Korver is Atlanta's top scorer by averaging 16.7 points per game. Forward Paul Millsap is scoring 16.6 points per game and he is the team's rebounding leader with 8.6 per game.
