The Memphis Grizzlies were able to beat the Phoenix Suns for the third time in three games this season when they pulled off the 104-99 home victory back in early January. It was a close game throughout, but Memphis led in the rebounding department 53-44 and used their size to get the win.

Phoenix actually looked like the better team in the first half when they were able to outscore the Grizzlies in each of the first two quarters and took a 55-48 lead into the locker room. Memphis played good defense in the second half, though, and took a one-point lead into the fourth quarter. In that final quarter, the Suns retook the lead momentarily, but the Grizzlies were able to make their shots down the stretch to take the win.

Power forward Zach Randolph led the Grizzlies in this one by notching yet another double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Point guard Mike Conley was able to match his career-high by scoring 31 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the field. Ed Davis came off of the bench for Memphis to score 10 points and brought down a career-best 17 rebounds.

Suns point guard Goran Dragic only took 10 shots in the game, but he was still able to lead his team in scoring with 21 points. Markieff Morris came off of the bench to score 17 points, while center Miles Plumlee had 11 rebounds in the loss.
