It took until Game 6, but Kevin Durant finally had his big game and the No. 2 seed Oklahoma City Thunder were able to beat the No. 7 seed Memphis Grizzlies 104-84 and force a Game 7 in Oklahoma. The Thunder made 49.3% of their shots in the game and went 23-for-25 from the free throw line, while the Grizzlies shot just 37.3% from the field and only made 19 of their 28 from the charity stripe.

The Thunder got off to a hot start and kept the momentum all the way through the second quarter. They opened the second half with a 15-point lead and were able to extend it when the Grizzlies missed their first six shots in the third quarter. Oklahoma City were then able to cruise the rest of the way and ended up with a 20-point win.

Durant ended up making 11 of his 23 shots and went 14-for-15 from the free throw line before finishing with a game-high 36 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Russell Westbrook had 25 points, nine rebounds and three steals in the win, and Reggie Jackson came off of the bench to score 16 points and grab five rebounds.

Memphis got just 42 points from their starting five, with Zach Randolph leading the way with 16 points and eight rebounds. Center Marc Gasol had 17 points and five rebounds in the losing effort, while James Johnson had 15 points and five rebounds off of the bench.
