On Friday night, the Memphis Grizzlies will take on the Indiana Pacers in their second game of the season. The Grizzlies and the Pacers split their two-game regular season series last year.

In their opening game on Wednesday, the Grizzlies held off the Minnesota Timberwolves for a 105-101 home win. They shot 52.4 percent from the field in that game and they forced the Timberwolves into committing 23 turnovers.

Grizzlies' center Marc Gasol was excellent in that first game by scoring a game-high 32 points, grabbing nine boards and blocking two shots. Veteran power forward Zach Randolph made 12 of his 16 shots and had 25 points with 13 rebounds, while point guard Mike Conley finished with 16 points and six assists in the win.

The Pacers were able to come away with a 103-91 home win over the Philadelphia 76ers in their opener on Wednesday night. They dominated in most areas in that game, including outrebounding the Pacers 50-42 and holding them to a 39 percent shooting percentage.

The Pacers' best player in that win over the 76ers was center Roy Hibbert, who had 22 points, eight rebounds and seven blocks for the hosts. Point guard Donald Sloan was 6-for-13 from the floor and had 16 points and a game-high 10 assists. Rodney Stuckey came off of the bench of Indiana to score 16 points.
