The Memphis Grizzlies didn't necessarily have a bad game the last time they squared off against the Denver Nuggets, but they still lost the game 111-108. The Nuggets ended a season-long eight-game losing streak with the win and can thank point guard Ty Lawson for making the most clutch plays of the night for them.

Lawson finished the game with 18 points, 12 assists and three steals to help his team get back in the win column. His biggest shot came with about a minute left in the fourth quarter when he made a three-pointer to clinch it for the home side.

Denver power forward Kenneth Faried made seven of his eight field goal attempts in the game on his way to scoring 16 points. Timofey Mozgov, Nate Robinson and Evan Fournier all came off the bench to score in double figures for the Nuggets.

Zach Randolph was Memphis' best player in the game, scoring 25 points and bringing down 13 rebounds in the loss. Point guard Mike Conley added 23 points, eight assists and four steals, while small forward Tayshaun Prince chipped in 13 points for the road team.

The Nuggets were without backup point guard Andre Miller in this one, but it wasn't due to any type of injury. He had an altercation with coach Brian Shaw in the previous game and was consequently suspended for two games.
